Price, purchases and cost wording, read on a stated day

A plain guide to what the store pages say about money for MetaTrader 4 and 5 and cTrader in the Philippines.

Store pages say little about money, and this site reads all of it for MetaTrader 4 and 5 and cTrader in the Philippines: the download price, the currency, whether a page shows an in-app purchase line, and every sentence of the description that mentions a fee, a deposit, a spread or a cost. Everything is dated 6 November 2026. The broker's own fee pages could not be read from where this site reads, so no cost figure is printed.

Three ways into this site

Every page is a dated reading of a public page, not a verdict on an app.

What each page covers

What this site is, and what it leaves alone

Peso App Fees asks one question of the store pages for MetaTrader 4 and 5 and cTrader: what do they say about money? On 6 November 2026 this desk opened 3 Google Play pages and 3 App Store pages in the Philippines, as a visitor who is not logged in sees them, and wrote down the download price each page states, the currency it names, whether it shows an in-app purchase line and every sentence of the description that mentions a fee, a spread, a payment or a cost. The Google Play pages were read in the Philippines view (country code PH, English text) and the App Store in the Philippines storefront.

No part of this site was written from inside an app. The desk opened no account, typed in no document or phone number, signed in nowhere and placed no order. What a screen inside an app looks like, how long an identity check runs and what a transfer costs are therefore outside it: they sit behind a login, and each page says so when the question arises. What the site can offer is a dated look at the public face of each app.

The sections that follow take the money lines of these pages one at a time: price, purchases, description wording, and the data declarations that sit beside them.

Who is named as the publisher

The listings do not all name one developer. MetaQuotes Software Corp. is named on MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play), MetaTrader 4 (App Store) and MetaTrader 5 (App Store). Spotware is named on cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play). cTrader Ltd is named on cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store). That is the field under each title: on Google Play the account that published the app, on the App Store the seller. The Play pages also attach links. For the developer website, MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading points to metaquotes.net, MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks points to metaquotes.net and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts points to ctrader.com; each page also gives a privacy-policy link on metaquotes.net and spotware.com. The word FxPro appears in the descriptions 0 times in MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading, 0 times in MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks, 0 times in MetaTrader 4, 0 times in MetaTrader 5, once in cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts and once in cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts.

The broker's own public text file, www.fxpro.com/llms.txt, was read on 6 November 2026. It names three regulated entities: FxPro UK Limited, FxPro Financial Services Limited and FxPro Global Markets Limited. The same file lists the platforms FxPro supports; of them it names MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5) and cTrader. Read as a label, the developer name tells you under which account an app is distributed in that store. It does not amount to a licence, and it says nothing about which firm would hold a client's money; the account documents settle that, the store page does not.

Ratings: the average and the count under it

MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading on Google Play: 4.8 in the header from 1,024,688 ratings; 890,839 of the ratings in the split are five-star (87%) and 14,314 one-star (1%). MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks on Google Play: 4.8 in the header from 1,234,015 ratings; 1,099,472 of the ratings in the split are five-star (89%) and 14,197 one-star (1%). MetaTrader 4 on the App Store: 4.8 from 3,190 ratings; 2,775 five-star (87%) and 28 one-star (1%). MetaTrader 5 on the App Store: 4.8 from 6,183 ratings; 5,511 five-star (89%) and 123 one-star (2%). cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on Google Play: 4.8 in the header from 29,856 ratings; 24,730 of the ratings in the split are five-star (84%) and 256 one-star (1%). cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: 4.8 from 140 ratings; 122 five-star (87%) and 3 one-star (2%).

The count under an average decides how firm it is. cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store) rests on 140 ratings, so one more five-star or one-star rating moves its average by at most 0.0357 of a star; MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) rests on 1,234,015, where the same single rating moves it by at most 0.0000041. That is arithmetic, not a view on either app.

How recently each page was updated

MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play) shows version 400.1493, updated 27 October 2026, 10 days before the reading; MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) shows version 500.6260, updated 8 October 2026, 29 days before the reading; MetaTrader 4 (App Store) shows version 4.0.1478, updated 28 August 2026, 70 days before the reading; MetaTrader 5 (App Store) shows version 5.0.6290, updated 2 November 2026, 4 days before the reading; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play) shows version 5.11.140, updated 2 November 2026, 4 days before the reading; cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store) shows version 5.11.150, updated 3 November 2026, 3 days before the reading.

The App Store goes further and lets anyone open a version history. For MetaTrader 4 it lists 25 versions between 24 June 2022 and 28 August 2026, a median of 46 days between one version and the next and a longest gap of 241 days.

A public Google Play page gives the current version and the day it was published, nothing earlier, so no Play history is reported. A version number is the plain way of saying which build a statement is about, and that is why every figure on this site is printed with its reading day.

What the phone needs

MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading on Google Play: Android 7.0 or later (API 24), 10M+ downloads, Rated for 3+, MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks on Google Play: Android 6.0 or later (API 23), 50M+ downloads, Rated for 3+, MetaTrader 4 on the App Store: 21.8 MB, Requires iOS 13.0 or later, English and 21 more, age rating 4+, MetaTrader 5 on the App Store: 36.7 MB, Requires iOS 15.0 or later, English and 22 more, age rating 4+, cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on Google Play: Android 10 or later (API 29), 1M+ downloads, Rated for 3+ and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts on the App Store: 252.1 MB, Requires iOS 15.0 or later, English and 22 more, age rating 16+. The Play web pages read here do not show a download size, so this site has no size for the Play listings and does not estimate one. The system line is the developer's statement of the oldest version of the phone's software the build runs on; the pages do not say how the app behaves on older software, and a figure here is a requirement, not a promise that the app will run well.

What the descriptions say the apps are

MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play) opens: “Trade Forex from your smartphone or tablet!” MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) opens: “Forex & Stock brokers offer traders investing in shares and currency trading via MetaTrader 5. Your MT5 features real-time quotes, financial news, FX & stock charts, technical analysis and online...” MetaTrader 4 (App Store) opens: “Connect to hundreds of brokers and trade on currency markets from the MetaTrader 4 for iPhone or iPad!” MetaTrader 5 (App Store) opens: “Connect to hundreds of brokers and trade in financial markets using MetaTrader 5 for iPhone and iPad.” cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play) opens: “The cTrader mobile app supports trading in forex, metals, oil, indices, stocks and ETFs.” cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store) opens: “The cTrader mobile app supports trading in forex, metals, oil, indices, stocks and ETFs.”

The wording is the developers' own, printed as found. When two descriptions diverge the site records the divergence once and does not rule between them; anyone can set them side by side with Ctrl+F on each store page.

What the descriptions list as features

Most descriptions carry a list of short feature lines. They are the developer's own marketing words and are quoted here as printed, without testing: MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play) lists “Real-time quotes of Forex market”; “Full set of trade orders, including pending orders”; “All types of trade execution”; “Detailed online trading history”; “Fast switching between financial instruments on charts”; “Sound notifications assisting trading”; “Customizable Forex chart color schemes”. MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) lists “Real-time Forex & Stock market quotes”; “Full set of trade orders, including pending orders”; “Level II prices with up to 32 quotes”; “All types of trade execution”; “Detailed online trading history”; “Fast switching between financial instruments on charts”; “Sound notifications assisting trading”. MetaTrader 4 (App Store) lists “Real-time quotes of financial instruments”; “Full set of trade orders, including pending orders”; “Trading from charts in iPad”; “All types of trade execution”; “Complete trading history”; “High-performance charts”; “Customizable chart color scheme”. MetaTrader 5 (App Store) lists “Real-time quotes of financial instruments”; “Full set of trade orders, including pending orders”; “Depth of Market (Level 2)”; “All types of trade execution”; “Complete trading history”; “High-performance charts”; “Customizable chart color scheme”. cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play) lists “Detailed symbol information helps you understand the assets you are trading”; “Symbol trading sessions show you when each market is open or closed”; “Integrated market news keeps you informed about events that may affect your trading”; “Fluid, responsive charts and QuickTrade mode allow for one-tap order execution”; “Market sentiment indicators show how other traders are positioned”; “Multiple chart types, including time-based, tick, Renko, range and Heikin-Ashi”; “Several chart views such as candlesticks, bar, line, dots and area charts”. cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store) lists “Detailed symbol information helps you understand the assets you are trading”; “Symbol trading sessions show you when each market is open or closed”; “Integrated market news keeps you informed about events that may affect your trading”; “Fluid, responsive charts and QuickTrade mode allow for one-tap order execution”; “Market sentiment indicators show how other traders are positioned”; “Multiple chart types, including time-based, tick, Renko, range and Heikin-Ashi”; “Several chart views such as candlesticks, bar, line, dots and area charts”.

Feature lines are what a developer chose to put forward. They are not measured here, and a feature that is missing from a list is not shown to be missing from the app. Whether a given feature reaches a client in the Philippines depends on the account and can only be seen after logging in.

Where the listings differ

The age or content label is not the same on every page: Rated for 3+: MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play) and cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play); App Store 4+: MetaTrader 4 (App Store) and MetaTrader 5 (App Store); App Store 16+: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store). Versions on the day of reading: 400.1493: MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play); 500.6260: MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play); 4.0.1478: MetaTrader 4 (App Store); 5.0.6290: MetaTrader 5 (App Store); 5.11.140: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play); 5.11.150: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store).

The differences above are between pages as shown on the reading day. Each appears once. The pages give no reason for any of them and this site does not add one.

The update dates, oldest first

28 August 2026: MetaTrader 4 (App Store), version 4.0.1478; 8 October 2026: MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play), version 500.6260; 27 October 2026: MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), version 400.1493; 2 November 2026: MetaTrader 5 (App Store), version 5.0.6290; 2 November 2026: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (Google Play), version 5.11.140; 3 November 2026: cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts (App Store), version 5.11.150.

The oldest of these dates is 70 days before the reading and the newest 3 days before it. A page that was updated long ago is not necessarily neglected and one updated yesterday is not necessarily better; the date is the only thing the page states.

What the data declarations show

Both stores ask the developer to declare what the app does with data and print the answer on the public page. The Google Play block of MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading says: “No data shared with third parties”; “This app may collect these data types”; “Data is encrypted in transit”; “You can request that data be deleted”. The Google Play block of MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks says: “No data shared with third parties”; “This app may collect these data types”; “Data is encrypted in transit”; “You can request that data be deleted”. The Google Play block of cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts says: “This app may share these data types with third parties”; “This app may collect these data types”; “Data is encrypted in transit”; “You can request that data be deleted”. The App Store privacy label of MetaTrader 4 lists data linked to you: Contact Info, User Content, Identifiers; data not linked to you: Usage Data, Diagnostics. The App Store privacy label of MetaTrader 5 lists data linked to you: Financial Info, Contact Info, User Content, Identifiers; data not linked to you: Usage Data, Diagnostics. The App Store privacy label of cTrader: CFD Trading & Charts lists data not linked to you: Contact Info, Identifiers, Diagnostics.

Each of these is a declaration made by the developer, as Google's block itself says: “The developer provided this information and may update it over time.” They are quoted in full on the data page and are left for the reader to weigh.

What could not be read, and why it matters

The broker's own fee and funding pages could not be read from the server this site reads from: its front page, FAQ and About page answered HTTP 403 on 6 November 2026, and nothing further was asked of that host. That is why this site prints no cost figure for a deposit, a withdrawal or a spread. What it prints instead is what the store pages themselves say, and it says so in the same plain words on every page. None of the descriptions read mentions GCash, Maya or another e-wallet, so this site has nothing to report about funding in that form; a reader who wants it has to ask the broker for the funding methods open to residents of the Philippines.

For a reader in the Philippines the point is short: the store page says what will be installed, and only the broker's account documents say what an account costs in pesos. Read the two together, store page first.

What a reader can check without logging in

Everything above can be repeated without an account. Open each store page, look for the price line near the install button, search the description for the words fee, spread, deposit and cost with Ctrl+F, and compare the result with the table on this site. A store page that changes its wording will change the table on the next reading; the date on each table is the date it was true.

What this site does not say

The site makes no claim about which app is better; nothing on the pages could support one. It does not rank, score or recommend. It does not vouch for a rating either: Google Play's page labels its ratings “Ratings and reviews are verified” and this site passes the label on untested. It does not call an app safe or unsafe, since a declaration is not an audit, and it gives no investment advice. Contracts for difference are complex, margined instruments, and losses can come fast.

The trading account

An app listing is not an account

A store listing describes software. An account is a contract with a firm, opened through identity checks and governed by rules no app shows. Before deciding anything, read the broker page and keep to money you can afford to lose.
