How the readings on this site are taken

How the readings on this site are taken, what a reading can and cannot show, and what is left out: this page sets that down, and every figure in the tables rests on it.

What a reading is

A reading is one request to a public page, made without a login by a script on a server, on a named day. For the 6 listings of this site that day is 6 November 2026. Google Play pages were requested in the Philippines view (hl=en, gl=PH), App Store product pages at their the Philippines address and the App Store lookup interface with the storefront set to the Philippines. The raw answers were saved and every table figure is parsed from those files.

Dates on this site are UTC. A page with figures names its store, its country view and its day, and a figure lacking any of the three is not printed. The pictures are either captures of the same public pages taken on the same day or drawings made from the saved readings; none comes from inside an app.

How the figures are re-checked

Before a reading is kept a second program re-reads the saved files by another route and compares the results: the visible text of each Play page with the page's data, the App Store lookup with the App Store page, the star counts with the number of ratings, the history's version and date with the current version. Any mismatch stops the write. The checker itself was tried on planted faults: an altered rating, a swapped developer, a changed count, a dropped privacy category, an edited date and a modified file.

What was asked of each source

Requests were kept light: the reading program leaves at least eight seconds between requests to one host, a day's total per host is capped, and a refusal (HTTP 403 or 429) stops it. On 6 November 2026 the broker's own site answered its front page, its FAQ and its About page with 403; only its public text file was readable, and it is the only broker page quoted here.

Pages whose layout differs

Store pages do not all take the same shape. If a Play page shows no star rating in this country view, or a storefront does not list an App Store entry, the reading records that, and the tables print “no rating shown on the page” or “not listed in this country view” rather than filling the gap.

What the site leaves out on purpose

Left out on purpose: anything behind a login (account screens, the identity check, deposit and withdrawal screens, the order ticket, fees) and written reviews, which are other people's words. Nothing is scored, ranked or recommended. Descriptions are quoted, not interpreted. A rating or a declaration is reported as the page words it, with its day, not certified as true.
